Dear Neighbor,

As always, our mission is to maintain home values and community pride by organizing and funding the maintenance of our common community property.

Every year around this time we ask for your voluntary contributions to further our mission another year.  If you have not contributed before, please consider doing so this year.  

Your contributions pay for maintaining the nearly 1/2 mile of easement along the perimeters of our neighborhood along 119th and Maple.  A map of our neighborhood area can be viewed at www.westlink18th.com. 

The reason we need your voluntary contributions is because our neighborhood does not have mandatory HOA dues, like so many others. Instead our organization is voluntarily self-managed and funded by good neighbors like you.  

Each year funds are needed for:

Last year, the majority of the money was spent on mowing and fertilizing which was $9,543.00.  Tree trimming and stump grinding totaled $950.00. Miscellaneous expenses which include printing, office supplies, bank and post office charges, and flyer delivery totaled $330.

Without your valued contributions, our common community property could not be properly maintained.  No doubt this would have negative consequences on home values for everyone. 

The minimum suggested donation per home is only $75 per year.  Compared to HOA dues in other neighborhoods this is great bargain.  Last year, 147 neighbors out of the 340 that live in the Westlink 18th Addition donated $12,046.

There are two ways to donate.

1. 4th Of July Neighborhood Parade A parade is held in honor of our nations birthday and the neighborhood families with active service members. Donations will be collected to send care packages for those service members from our neighborhood.
